So What’s up with the Car Accidents?

I’m not sure what the deal is but I suppose someone has announced open season on the freeway. Both Jason’s mother and my father were both in car accidents this week. Dad had his on the highway up in Oregon and evidently whoever did the deed decided that he didn’t do enough damage to warrant hanging around. Fortunately, no one was hurt but the bill is definitely going to because the estimate is sitting somewhere upwards of $20,000. At least he was nice enough to wave at everyone as he passed by in the wrecker. He probably won’t be as amicable once the felonies show up on his record.

Jason’s mother Patty was careened into on her way to go shopping up in Alexandria, KY but the guy who hit her didn’t get away nearly as fast. He was asleep at the wheel….. Evidently he hit her so hard that the back bumper was sitting sideways in the back windshield when all was said and done. The good news is that everyone is in one piece but it’s definitely a reminder to be careful out there on the highway, you never know when a tired traveler will nod off and leave a nice “Cya” note on your car.
